This Media Center PC Chassis Really "Whips the Llama's Ass"

June 3, 2008 22:03 by norm

5-29-08-cannon-pc-ex-htpc I was blown away when I saw this media center PC over on engadget - holy wow Batman!  It would seem that Cannon PC has partnered up with Microsoft (M$) to put together this really kick ass rig.  Now, I'm not one for spending a fortune on someone else's creation, so I won't be buying a Cannon PC anytime soon.  However, if you are like me then you saw the picture and got excited about the case, not what's inside it.  If you have an interest in the chassis, look no further than OrigenAE.  They make all sorts of home media chassis, and they each have a certain style and grace about them.

This particular case is a perfect home theatre PC (HTPC) design.  Aside from the obvious 12.1 inch motorized TFT touch screen, the chassis also includes a removable motherboard tray, support for ten hard drives, and a 390mm footprint depth.  Make sure your bring your chequebook with you though, this case is available in North America for the one-time low price of $1,199US.  I guess I better start saving my pennies.
