I came across a great website tonight for Windows Media Center Edition (MCE) plug-ins.  The site is called MCE ZONE and some of the plug-ins that they offer really top the charts.  The site contains both free and commercial add-ons.  Now I must say that I am a very big fan of Media Center and I love how you can customize it to do just about anything you want.  I'm definitely adding this site to my favorites and you should too!  Here is a breakdown of the components that most appealed to me, however I encourage you to check out the rest of the available plug-ins.

My Tracker for MCE

This is a great little tool that helps you keep track of your UPS and FEDEX shipments.  Now it's as simple as turning on the TV to find out just where that new eBay purchase is sitting.  My Tracker gives you detailed information about your packages including the tracking history with dates, times, locations, and activities.  You can also see the shipping method, package weight, and even who signed for it when the final delivery was made.

Remind Me for MCE

Remind me helps you keep track of those things that might easily slip your mind. We have all done it at one time or another, you know, forgotten mom's birthday or that awful dentist appointment.  Well never again.  Just add it to the Remind Me plug-in and you will immediately be transformed into Mr. (or Mrs.) organization skills.  Remind Me allows you to schedule reminders for convenient times, so you don't have to miss a beat.  Life can get very busy these days and any tool that helps me stay afloat is worth it's weight in gold (even if it is free).  Please note though that this is an MCML program and as such requires Microsoft Windows Vista Premium or Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate.
