Hello World.  Welcome to the jumbled binary mess that is my mind. 

I'm imagining that this is like the maiden voyage of some magnificent and classic sailing ship.  I am about to heave the champagne bottle to symbolize the traditional christening…  I close my eyes…

When I re-open them, reality hits me in the face in the kind of way that only a cinderblock could actually achieve physically.  This is the maiden voyage of the S.S. geektanic.  Can I do better than Captain Edward John Smith did with the S.S. Titanic?  Maybe, if I watch out for the proverbial iceberg. 

This blog is designed for the modern day geeks.  Greater geeks, lesser geeks.  All geeks.  I'm going to fill your head with things such as rants, raves, reviews, advice, humor and wisdom.  So what makes it different than every other blog site?  I’m not talking because I like the sound of my own voice.  I’m not looking for fame or glory.  I am here to pass on my knowledge and experience to anyone who wants it.  Hopefully I can continue to free my mind and maybe help you open yours along the way.  Don’t fight it.
